🎨 About the role
We’re looking for a talented Head of Design to join our early team. You will be our first Product Designer and have a major impact on our product direction and company culture.
As our first product designer, your core responsibilities will include:
Ownership. You’ll be responsible for product design from conception to release. You’ll drive user research and prototyping, as well as graphics and production-quality assets.
Culture. You are starting the design team. You’ll influence our design culture, processes, and the product we build. As we grow, you’ll help hire and mentor other designers we bring onboard.
Collaboration. You’ll work with engineering, product, leadership, sales, and our customers to ensure our designs are technically feasible and create great user experiences.
Flexibility. You’ll have the opportunity to flex beyond the typical scope of a product designer by contributing to our website, marketing materials, and front-end web development.
📍 Location
We’re remote-first and welcome candidates from anywhere in the US! We have quarterly team retreat where we fly the whole team out to a new location so we can meet in person, get to know each other better, kick off important projects, and have fun!

Qualifications
You might be a good fit for us if you have:
5+ years of experience owning design projects end-to-end, shipping high-quality work quickly.
Have experience designing technically complex business products.
A bias for action and self-directed prioritization in ambiguous situations.
A growth mindset and want to help our team and processes evolve.
Ability to balance the need for excellent design with the need to move and iterate quickly.
It'd be nice if you have:
Familiarity with Engineering best practices and microservices.
Prior experience designing B2B products.
Experience designing developer tools and technical products is a plus.
Experience with communication design, willingness to help with marketing materials and other assets.
Familiarity with user research and user research methodologies.
