We're hiring a founding Account Executive!
As the Founding Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for developing strategic relationships and closing new business. We’re looking for a seasoned sales professional with experience selling highly technical solutions into large engineering accounts. This role will be the first sales hire at Cortex and will play a crucial role in building the foundation of our future sales organization.
In this role you’ll be expected to:
✅ Source quality sales leads and nurture leads into high-value opportunities✅ Own the entire sales process, from prospecting, running POCs and bringing in technical support as needed, and negotiating contracts✅ Become an expert on Cortex and how it can supercharge an engineering organization✅ Play a key role in scaling the team for the future
What we'd love to see you bring:
3-5+ years enterprise technical sales experience, SaaS preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, across all personas (be it with a developer, a CTO, or anyone in-between)
Enthusiastic desire to grow and learn
Care deeply about the customer experience
Good with ambiguity and excited about the prospect of creating the sales playbook from the ground up
