- Help millions of developers worldwide fix tricky bugs and vulnerabilities by pushing the detection capabilities of our products
- Incorporate state-of-the-art techniques into real-world products that users love
- Share your knowledge about static analysis with dozens of passionate developers in the Languages Team
- Help improve the team's effectiveness by challenging and continuously improving existing processes, designs, and engineering practices
- Lead by example, mentor, and grow more junior team members
- Contribute to the team's growth by participating in the recruitment process of new team members
On a daily basis, you will
- Be part of a team of engineers focused on improving the detection of bugs and vulnerabilities in our products
- Investigate the limitations of our dataflow analysis engines and possible solutions to overcome them
- Specify improvements to the models we use to analyze how our users' code behaves at runtime
- Implement changes to our analyzers through high-quality code and following the team’s processes
- Produce data to evaluate the precision and detection capabilities as well as the performance of our analyzers
- Help collectively define the team's short and long-term goals
The skills you will demonstrate
- Excellent computer science fundamentals
- Experience with static code analysis techniques: a PhD related to static analysis
- Ability to read and understand academic papers
- Ability to develop clean code
- You will have to write code in Java: good knowledge of Java is a bonus
- Comfortable in dealing with change and complexity
- Confidence to challenge the status quo as well as to be challenged
- Leadership; you take initiative and demonstrate your ability to lead a subject from beginning to end
