Description

Digital Transformation Analyst

Who are you?

We are on the lookout for an Analyst to join our Transformation team on a permanent basis. You’ll be working as part of our Transformation Team helping hospitals adopt new technology to improve patient experience and the way they operate. The Transformation team is on hand for every hospital that uses the DrDoctor Platform to ensure they get the most out of it. At DrDoctor we want every installation and ongoing use of our platform to deliver the best possible results at every hospital, without exception.

You’ll most likely be early on in your career or looking for a change and will be supported by the team as you learn. At Analyst level, you’ll start off aiming to be a safe pair of hands, delivering projects with support. You’ll be curious, proactive and able ask for help when you need it. By Manager level, you’ll display strong fundamentals in managing projects and work with clients.

OK, that’s me, but who are DrDoctor?

DrDoctor is a HealthTech company on an exciting growth trajectory. Our technology focuses on engaging patients across their healthcare journey while saving hospitals time, effort, and money.

Our Mission

is that healthcare needs a reset. More people need care every day and health services struggle. Current patient engagement is a mess of disparate systems that hinder, rather than help care delivery.

Our Vision

is a remote-first healthcare system, which can meet demand without sacrificing care quality. We want patients to be engaged in their care, shifting to a digital first model.

We do this at scale:

  • 19 million+ patients use DrDoctor
  • We manage over 83 million appointments
  • We work with over 47 NHS Trusts and Health Boards (and still growing!)

In the past 12 months, some of the impact we’ve made includes:

  • £44.1 million value to the local health system
  • 974 more days available to be spent with patients
  • 6,083 trees equivalent of CO2 emissions avoided

We :green_heart: the NHS and want to help it work better. We radically transform the delivery of health services to make healthcare work for everyone – for patients, doctors, administrative teams and taxpayers.

What would I be doing day to day?

One of the great things about a scale-up is that every day is different and there is always an opportunity to get involved in something outside of your ‘BAU’! However, the key things you could expect would include:

  • Develop great relationships with our Transformation Managers to support them in supporting our clients
  • Support projects on setting up in new Trusts and implementing new systems to our clients

  • Analyse data and produce insightful reports that quantify the value we deliver to our clients and encourage them to use our products in new, more effective ways
  • Train users in our functionality and help them to use our products effectively
  • You may also work on internal projects to improve the way your team and/or DrDoctor works
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital staff, to understand how we can work together to solve their problems
  • Turn our vision for the future of healthcare into reality but giving providers the tools they need to delivery long term, high quality care

OK, I’m interested. What experience do I need to have?

  • You should be passionate about the Healthcare industry and be empowered to make a difference
  • A strong track record of achievement inside or outside of academia and/or work
  • You should have good communication skills, and be comfortable with the idea of talking with clients every day

  • You should be excited by the idea of acting independently to solve problems and be keen to see the impact of your work
  • You should have a great learning mindset, keen to get stuck in and learn something new every day
  • Any experience working on projects or within a project framework is advantageous, but not essential
  • Any experience working in or with healthcare, technology or health tech is advantageous, but not essential

We know from research and experience that candidates may not apply if they don’t think they meet 100% of our requirements. If you don’t tick all the boxes but feel you would be a good fit, we would still love to hear from you. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive culture! Just to let you know too, we will need you to have the Right To Work in the UK, and as we work closely with the NHS, if we get to the stage where we make you an offer to join us, we will also need to undertake a DBS check.

We are perfect for each other, what are the next steps?

We are currently recruiting heavily and have a lot of CVs to go through. However, we don’t wait for roles to close before going through your CV. We will be in touch in a few days to let you know if we think we might be a match, and if we are not. Unfortunately, because we get so many CV’s we are not able to send a personalised reply if it’s not a match. However, if you want more details as to why, just drop us a note and we will arrange to get some feedback over to you. If it’s a match, then we will arrange a time to talk to you on a quick 30 minute call.

It’s just an informal chat so you can relax! We will tell you more about the role, the team and why you should want to join us. If we continue, then we will invite you to meet some of the team, most likely virtually. Some our roles will also be subject to completing an assessment or a role related exercise. We get there are a lot of great roles out there, so we will make sure to get through the rounds as quickly as possible. All we ask is you keep us up to date with your plans.

Life at DrDoctor

DrDoctor puts patients in control of their healthcare, whilst maximising valuable NHS resources. By harnessing the power of the web, smartphones and SMS, patients can choose and reschedule their appointment times, feedback on services and learn more about what to expect from clinics. Cancellations are automatically refilled using a proprietary algorithm presented to the patient. Reminder messages increase the likelihood of attendance - 1 in 10 patients don't attend their appointments – which costs the NHS £900 million a year. The outcome of using DrDoctor is more efficient clinics, a cost saving to hospitals and a much better experience for patients.
