DESCRIPTION
The Vice President of Sales will play a pivotal leadership role within our Business Development function in managing and scaling high-performing teams, driving revenue growth, and continuing to build the GTM strategy across our SMB & Mid-Market segments. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, the VP of Sales will directly manage the Outbound Sales, Partner Engagement, Strategic Account Management, and Revenue Operations teams. The VP of Sales will be a hands-on leader with excellent management skills, an operational and metrics-driven mindset, and a depth of experience scaling SaaS sales organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide hands-on leadership to the sales team, establishing goals and metrics and setting the near and long-term strategy for continued successful expansion of our business development teams.
- Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing teams, providing development opportunities for team members from entry level to senior leaders.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture, ensuring the team is motivated, engaged, and aligned with company objectives.
- Set performance metrics, track progress, and provide regular feedback to enhance team performance.
- Continually assess the team’s processes, resources, and reporting to ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with product development, marketing, and customer support initiatives.
- Implement and leverage sales analytics to track and analyze key performance metrics.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record of success in SaaS sales leadership roles, ideally within a fast-growing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable sales plans.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
