PostgreSQL Expert/Developer
Task:
You will work in the context of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) which provides the multi-cloud foundation and a layer of abstraction for all applications to run on both public clouds [AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud] and private cloud. More specifically you will work on our PostgreSQL on SAP BTP, hyperscaler option, a managed services with state-of-the-art security, high-availability, resilience, scalability and easy consumability. The security capabilities, selective data encryption with customer managed keys will be focus of this assignment.
Skills:
- Sound understanding of cloud native architecture & development and cloud platforms
- Expert PostgreSQL incl. extensions knowledge
- Ideal but not mandatory: experience with pgcrypto module providing cryptographic functions for PostgreSQL
- Alternatively experience of using encryption utilities from cloud platforms
- Excellent hands-on proficiency in NodeJS
- Experience running systems on Kubernetes or Cloud Foundry
- Confidence working within Unix / Linux shell environments
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
