Python Developer
for delivering technical components required to execute actuarial pricing models and serve model results (via APIs). The architecture requires building bespoke microservices and REST APIs on Azure. The technical components involve microservices to orchestrate the execution of actuarial pricing models (containerised R Studio models), storing model outputs in a NoSQL database (Cosmos DB), and serving up results using APIs.
Python Developer should / have:
- be able to build application using python and different python libraries / packages along with experience in managing modules in PIP
- knowledge in Django and WEB2PY framework is desired
- experience in writing automated unit test cases which can be integrated with DevOps pipeline
- hands on experience in Azure services including Cosmos Db (SQL API), Storage account , key vault , APIM , Event Hub , Functions , Azure AD and Oauth 2 is desired
- experience in running Python based applications in containers (Docker , Kubernetes) is highly desired and any experience with OpenShift platform is recommended
- knowledge in Agile methodologies , DevOps , Github is required
