Senior JavaScript Engineer
Our client is a company that promotes free and independent media with intelligent advertising technology, empowering their customers by monetizing their users with efficient products. Standardized. Automated. AI-powered. This is being accomplished by a micro-service landscape to serve a wide range of clients. In addition to the technical connection, the tasks include E2E testing, monitoring and data-driven optimization.
The Job
- You actively participate in the architecture of the software and ensure stable ad delivery to millions of concurrent users
- You find creative solutions for our SDK’s to open up different environments with one code base written in JavaScript
- You will design and develop scalable services hosted and deployed via Github, TravisCI and AWS
- For the purpose of real-time service monitoring, you will provide solid KPIs
- You will work closely in a team of experienced developers, project managers and requirement/solution engineers.
Required Skillset:
- You are a passionate developer and have a profound experience in JavaScript/Node.JS
- You have experience in async programming and client-server communication handling
- You are keeping an eye on scalability, maintainability as well as performance impacts
- You are communicative and you enjoy working in an agile team using Scrum, XP practices (pair programming, mob programming, code reviews etc.)
- High proficiency in English. German language skills are a plus
