As a Systems Consultant, you'll collaborate closely with our Solution Consultants to seamlessly onboard new clients and enhance the setup of existing ones. This role marries your software development expertise with customer success skills, encompassing a deep understanding of client needs and requirements to craft robust and scalable software solutions. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our DevOps practices, ensuring the smooth deployment and operation of our solutions.With us, you'll have the opportunity to work with groundbreaking technologies, including J2EE, React, Material UI, Websocket, REST APIs, and SQL.
Your role will extend beyond software design and development, allowing you to influence critical factors across testing, systems development, and ongoing support, as well as participating in DevOps activities.We expect you to be an advocate for writing clean, secure and efficient code and tests. And that you are not afraid to recommend and execute improvements on both the code base and our processes.You will solve complex real-world problems and shape the future’s commercial shipping industry. Requirements
You are definitely a match if you...
- Proficiency in SQL, Java and REST APIs
- Knowledge of JavaScript, React, Material UI, Git, databases, SQL, J2EE specifications and frameworks
- Familiarity with Scrum and agile methodologies
- Knowledge with the shipping industry is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Customer-focused mindset, with a knack for empathetic problem-solving.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or technical advisory position is a plus
- Ability to work independently, but also to speak out in a team
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral
- Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Experience and skill can compensate for formal relevant education
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience
