Position Overview:


As a Senior Product Manager in our Innovation Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital products in the Japanese market. You will be responsible for generating new ideas, leading experiments, and driving the development of innovative digital products. This role demands a deep understanding of the Japanese market, user needs, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Continuously research, analyze market trends, and gather insights to generate innovative product ideas that address the unique needs and preferences of the Japanese market.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with our business goals, market dynamics, and user demands in Japan.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in planning and executing experiments to validate product hypotheses, optimize user experiences, and drive growth.
  • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback sessions to inform product decisions and refine strategies.
  • Create and manage a clear product roadmap that prioritizes features and initiatives based on data-driven insights and user feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other departments to ensure successful product development, launch, and ongoing improvement.
  • Champion a user-centric approach throughout the product development process, ensuring products meet and exceed user expectations.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly track and report on product performance, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior product managers and team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 10 years of total experience; min 2-3 years of consulting experience with at least 7 years of hands-on product management experience, including taking products from 0-1
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education.
  • Exceptional creativity and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and A/B testing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a cross-cultural context.
  • Willingness to relocate to Japan.
