About the role:
As a Production Supervisor at Skydio, you’ll be responsible for running an end-to-end assembly and test line, producing the world’s most advanced autonomous drones. You will have a team of up to 45 technicians and leads reporting directly to you. You’ll work closely with the Planning Team to set production schedules, the Engineering team for troubleshooting and support, and the Inventory Control team to make sure you’ve got the right materials to meet your targets. This is a people leadership position that emphasizes the ability to foster teamwork and accountability in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
How you'll make an impact:
- Balances capacity against demand plan to ensure production goals and KPIs are being met
- Recruit and manage assembly technicians
- Ensures approved processes are followed (SOPs, Quality, Test, Defect Reporting and Tracking)
- Fosters a learning and problem-solving environment
- Escalates issues to quality, supply, hardware, and software design teams as required
What makes you a good fit:
- Familiarity with electromechanical assembly and digital testing platforms
- Comfortable using a variety of software solutions (Jira, NetSuite, Slack, etc.) for work orders, production control, inventory management, and communication
- Highly organized with great communication skills

- Attention to detail with emphasis on quality and efficiency over quantity
- Drives continuous improvement - able to build flexible and sustainable solutions that scale
Compensation Range:
The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
