About the role:
In this role, you will be a key leader responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive field enablement strategy that drives the success of our sales teams. This role involves crafting and implementing sales methodologies, industry-specific training, onboarding programs, and channel partner enablement initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our field sales force is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to achieve and exceed organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a holistic field enablement strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Drive the adoption of effective sales methodologies that enhance the capabilities of the sales organization.
- Leverage market insights to tailor sales training programs for specific industries, addressing unique challenges and opportunities.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the relevance and accuracy of industry-focused content.
- Lead initiatives to enable and empower channel partners, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
- Provide strategic guidance and resources to optimize the performance of channel partners in alignment with organizational goals.
- Design and oversee comprehensive onboarding programs for new sales team members, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.
- Conduct regular training sessions to keep the sales force abreast of product updates, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
- Develop and oversee the creation of a robust library of sales collateral, playbooks, and training materials.
- Ensure that all content is current, easily accessible, and aligned with evolving sales strategies.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact and effectiveness of field enablement programs.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continually refine and optimize training initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, and sales leadership to align strategies and messaging.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to gather insights and ensure a cohesive approach across departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven leadership experience in field enablement, sales leadership, or related roles.
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies, training methodologies, and adult learning principles.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Knowledge of LMS systems, enablement tools such as Gong, Highspot or other content management systems
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
- Ability to navigate a dynamic and fast-paced environment and lead cross-functional initiatives.
Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $161,500 - $200,000*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends. *For some positions the pay may be dependent upon the individual's regional location.
