A Better Opportunity


The Better Growth team is looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in project management and a keen interest in design. Working closely with our Head of Growth, you will collaborate with our Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams in all aspects of product, UI, execution, and analysis. You will be responsible not only for helping us nimbly ship new features to our users but also helping convert customers in top of the funnel experiences. You’ll get there by partnering strategically with the rest of the org to make sure that the customer receives the right messaging and contact points, product experience, lifecycle marketing content, offers, and loan fulfillment experience – their end to end experience – to successfully fund a loan with Better.

Your individual KPI would be what % of our users walk away as brand advocates.

Responsibilities


  • Be an expert on the end-to-end customer journey to ensure a consistent and positive experience at every stage. Work alongside the product managers and marketing team to identify other relevant engagement and activation points to drive conversion
  • Partner with Marketing and Creative on Acquisition efficiency
  • Conduct User Research to identify opportunities for growth. Have a strong baseline understanding of why we win or lose customers. Leverage research-driven insights to inform Product and Marketing roadmaps
  • Build roadmaps and continuously update
  • Work with respective channel owners to define, manage, and activate all of the necessary components to bring launches to market
  • Strategize with team-mates and across the firm on priorities and be ready to frequently and quickly perform cost-benefit analysis tradeoffs

Qualifications


  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally at a startup or a similarly fast-paced environment
  • D2C experience preferred and motivation to improve UX/UI a must-have
  • Experience in launching products end-to-end (from ideation to launch)
  • A/B testing and experimentation is required 
  • A successful track record of user research and data analysis. Substantial SQL or scripting experience is preferred
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams to solve problems
  • Obsessive about customers’ needs and wants                           
  • Experience leading strategy on some aspects of product development
  • Strong analytical ability, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Appetite for problem solving and a love for fast-paced, constantly-changing environments.

$125,000 - $155,000 a year
