We are now looking to expand our team with a Senior Unity Graphics Engineer with a focus on game performance. A great candidate for this role is someone who understands the depths of Unity and graphics programming and has a passion for optimizing performance for the most immersive and fluid gaming experiences. You Will
- Spearhead the development and optimization of graphics performance in Unity & VR, setting benchmarks and best practices for the team.
- Tackle complex performance challenges and enhance frame rate to deliver a seamless and immersive VR golf experience.
- Collaborate closely with gameplay engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that graphics performance aligns with the overall vision of our projects.
- Lead the charge in identifying and implementing cutting-edge graphics techniques and optimizations within Unity & VR.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in graphics performance.
- Stay at the forefront of the latest trends and advancements in Unity & VR graphics and performance optimization, integrating new methodologies to elevate our game.
You Are
- Deeply experienced in Unity & VR graphics programming, with a proven track record of optimizing performance in games.
- A problem-solver who thrives in tackling performance challenges, viewing them as opportunities to enhance the gaming experience and bring joy to players.
- A leader in graphics engineering, eager to set standards and establish best practices within the team.
- A strong communicator, dedicated to sharing knowledge and elevating the skills of fellow team members.
- Constantly curious and driven to stay updated with the latest trends in Unity graphics and performance optimization.
We Require
- VR/mobile graphics engineering experience focused on performance
- Unity graphics engineering experience
- A history of establishing benchmarks and improving performance proactively.
Bonus Points For
- Experience working in the VR industry.
- Familiarity and interest in golf.
- URP & Vulkan experience
- Familiarity with Meta Quest APIs
- Experience working in a B2C startup environment.
