KNIME is growing rapidly and we’re seeking smart, motivated, and creative people up for the challenge of helping us achieve ambitious scaling goals while continuing to empower the active community. Right now, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team at KNIME in Berlin or Konstanz.*
Who you are
You have a technical background and like dealing with all kinds of systems. You have some Linux administration skills and enjoy learning new technologies. Experience with Kerberos would be a big plus. As analyzing data is also part of the job, you are fluent in SQL and open to learning how to put this skill into KNIME workflows. You should be able to organise yourself and have an overview of the entire data ecosystem, as several processes are involved from feeding the data into the system to providing it to your colleagues.
That’s the job
You will take care that our internal KNIME Business Hub is up and running. This involves taking care that all systems are regularly updated. You will be responsible for our administration workflows, which are running on a daily basis to ensure that our data is in good shape. You are the go-to person for all Hub related questions as you have a good overview of what is happening on the Hub. Maintaining the related documentation is also part of the job. And of course, you will build KNIME workflows to analyze the data.
Here you will mainly be responsible for maintaining the organization’s 360 ecosystem which, roughly said, combines all our data into a single source of truth to make it easily accessible. Finally, you will be part of KNIME’s Data and Analytics Team, which all have a passion for data and would love to get to know you!
