Optimal is hiring an Amazon Marketing Specialist to join our Digital Media team. We’re looking for an ambitious candidate with a drive for career growth and a true interest in becoming an Amazon expert. Applicants should have experience advertising or selling on Amazon. If this sounds like you, please apply!Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Campaign Creation – Build Amazon ad campaigns from the ground up, including account set-up, campaign planning/organization, competitive analysis, keyword research, and ad copy writing.
- Campaign Management & Optimization – Manage campaigns to ensure that they continually improve over time. Test and optimize bids, keywords, text ads, image ads, video ads and landing pages to improve campaign performance.
- Organic Listing Management– Optimize Amazon product detail pages including titles, bullets, descriptions, images, and A+ content for higher conversion rate and search ranking.
- Catalog Troubleshooting – Identify and promptly respond to marketplace issues, such as suspended or suppressed listings, undesirable attribute changes, inventory issues, loss of buy box, etc.
- Reporting & Analysis – Master the art of performance analysis and client reporting through the daily use of tools such as Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Ads, DSP/STV and more.
Minimum Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, economics, finance, analytics; or relevant experience through school and/or internships
- 1+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Ads and/or product listings in Seller/Vendor Central
- Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads or other PPC channels is also a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and client relationship skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Office HoursThis role is based out of our Austin office. Our Austin team works on a hybrid basis, with three days per week working in the office and two days per week working from home.
