What We're Looking for:
We are looking for people who are passionate about delivering self-driving (L4) products that make the way we move safer, faster, and more efficient. We seek mission-driven, highly skilled people with deep experience in fast-paced, rapidly growing, tech development environments. We seek mission-driven, highly skilled individuals who can work across our cloud and web service stack to deliver rich solutions that will be used in every corner of the company.
What Success Looks Like:
- Develop highly scalable applications that have complex frontend and backend needs
- Develop base microservice architecture and end-to-end release strategy
- Develop and maintain local development stack
- Promote best practices and aid in maintaining high code standards
- Work cross-functionally with various engineering and product teams to build solutions
- Mentor and build relationships with other engineers on the team and outside the team
- Experience with Go or other object-oriented languages
- Familiarity with frontend development in Typescript and React
- AWS experience, or similar cloud based offerings
- Experience with with queuing and event streaming solutions such as SQS, SNS or Kafka
- Experience with with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres or Elasticsearch, and caching solutions such as Redis or Memcached
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks
- Building observability as part of the application
- Experience with containerized solutions such as Docker, Tilt or Kubernetes
