Role description
This role provides an opportunity for a registered Pharmacy Technician to be part of our Pharmacy Team involved in providing the service of accuracy checking of the picking of medications and the subsequent packing of these medication orders within our dispensing process. This is a unique chance to join an early-stage start-up and be part of the teams shaping our dispensing processes and contributing to creating best-in-class tools, systems and playbooks. This role requires someone to bring not just their pharmaceutical expertise and compassion for customers to the job but also has ambitions for creating a fresh pharmacy experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accuracy checking and packing medication orders.
- Ensuring utmost accuracy and safety in handling and distributing pharmaceuticals.
- Assist in managing the inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment.
- Monitor expiration dates and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Support team to keep compliant with all GPhC requirements.
- Tutoring and assessing learners on NVQs within the pharmacy setting and according to business needs.
- Participating in the entire dispensing process.
Requirements
- Be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- The successful applicant will have ideally worked within a pharmacy environment for a minimum of 2 years.
- Good to have: experience of working in a fast-paced environment, delivering against tight deadlines.
