WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:


We are searching for an experienced and customer-centric Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the new product stream for WhatsApp, which is expected to be one of the key drivers of the company's success in the upcoming years.This is a rare opportunity to join at the inception of an exciting journey and make a substantial impact you can take pride in. WHAT YOU’LL DO:


  • Explore and prioritize user needs by conducting all sorts of research, both with hands-on approaches and by collaborating with our data, product marketing, and user research teams.
  • Contribute to the vision and strategy of the product stream by partnering with the Product Lead.
  • Manage the product backlog, develop a roadmap, and communicate progress across the organization and to the senior leadership.
  • Craft and deliver elegant solutions that effectively address critical user problems, working closely with design and engineering teams.
  • Translate research insights into actionable value chunks, represented as high-level product specifications for the cross-functional teams. Our teams are highly autonomous, so you don’t need to work out every detail.
  • Define the success metrics and measure the results of product launches with the assistance of the data and user research teams.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:


Must haves


  • 3+ years experience working in a product role within a high-growth scale-up or a startup. You have passion and skills to deal with uncertainty at a high pace.
  • You take responsibility for the outcomes, not just the outputs of your own work.
  • Customer-centric mindset: you always start with gaining deep understanding of the customer needs.
  • Experience gaining valuable insights from user research.
  • Proficiency in defining and driving specific product metrics with your product increments. You know how to use data for making important product decisions.
  • You love crafting product solutions in close collaboration with design and engineering teams, explaining the “why” and working with them to define the “how”.
  • You are good at presenting your work results and the impact made.
  • Your communication style is clear, concise, and empathetic.
  • You are fluent in English.

Nice to haves


  • Experience in SaaS product management.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
