Then we want you!WHAT YOU’LL DO: As an API and CIAM Intern, you will work closely with our experienced team to understand, configure, and optimize our API Gateway infrastructure.
You will also managing customer identities and access within our platform. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing API traffic, ensuring security protocols, and enhancing performance. Key responsibilities include:· Assisting in the configuration and deployment of API Gateway solutions.· Collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize API endpoints.· Assisting in the implementation of CIAM solutions, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO).· Collaborating with development teams to integrate Authorization as a capability into applications.· Implementing security measures and access controls to safeguard API endpoints.· Participating in the design and development of API Gateway policies and rules.· Provide an industry standard solution for API developer onboarding experience. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: · Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, ideally graduating between December 2024 and August 2025 · Strong understanding of API concepts and RESTful architecture· Basic knowledge of API Gateway platforms (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Apigee, Azure API Management).· Basic knowledge of CIAM platforms (Auth0, Azure AD, Okta)· Fast learner who picks up new technologies quickly· Ability to work productively in a collaborative team environment.· Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment· Familiar with at least one of the following languages: node.js frameworks (Nest.js, express.js), Python, Java or Go.· Ability to easily move between backend and frontend technologies.· Openness to new technologies and creative solutions· Practical knowledge of data structures and algorithms with equivalent development skills to match· Great communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills· Excellent work ethic.
Ability to work and travel independently. Advanced strategic thinking skillsBONUS POINTS: · Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to resolve and mitigate issues quickly.· Experience working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases· Exposure to AWS or Cloud Services· Experience using IDE (Visual Studio code, Intelij, etc.)· Familiarity with version control system (git, svn etc)WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
