About the role
We are looking for a Head of AI Research who will lead our team in the research and development of cutting-edge machine learning technologies for automotive applications across our core product pillars. You will build and lead an organization of world class machine learning researchers and engineers who will be researching and developing new capabilities that will accelerate the widespread adoption of safe and intelligent machines. This position is ideal for a leader with a strong background in AI and machine learning, a commitment to quality, and a desire to make a real impact by advancing the state of the art of autonomous systems development and validation.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Build, manage and mentor a team of world-class applied researchers
- Drive the vision of AI within the company, working with cross-functional teams to define new research initiatives, bring research to production, and identify key technologies to develop
- Work closely with customers to define requirements for AI capabilities
We’re looking for someone who has:
- PhD in computer science, physics, robotics, or equivalent
- 4+ years working in the machine learning space
- Experience leading machine-learning research teams
- Published research and/or talks at top conferences such as CVPR, ICLR, ICRA, and NeurIPS
- Experience working on research in autonomous driving
The salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $400,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.Don’t meet every single requirement?
