About the Team


The Marketplace Tool team is tasked with constructing projection and forecasting tools that empower users to utilize them for making informed business decisions. We are actively looking for a skilled and experienced Software Engineer to become a valuable member of our team.

About the Position


Reports to: Tech Lead Manager
Location: Menlo Park, CASenior Software Engineer, Ads Marketplace Tool will play a key role in designing and optimizing the next generation platform powering the Cardlytics ad marketplace. You will be part of a team rethinking and redefining ads delivery and optimization at scale, with a direct impact on millions of customers every day.Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of robust and scalable software systems to support the development of Marketplace tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Spearhead the development of cutting-edge tools that provide accurate projection and forecasting results.
  • Implement forecasting models that enable analysis of live campaigns, aiding advertisers in budget allocation and strategic decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks that can improve the development and performance of the tools.
  • Collaborate with product managers, sales, and other engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions that align with business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications


  • 4+ years of experience in a Software Engineer role, who has attained a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining API services.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining big data processing systems.
  • Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Scala, etc.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: AWS glue, Airflow, etc.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services: Lambda, RDS, etc.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Compensation

The base salary range provided below does not include bonus and other benefits. Cardlytics’ salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and individual pay may be determined by additional factors such as role-related skills, experience, education, training, and more.
The anticipated annual base salary for this role is: $180,000 - $210,000
