About the Opportunity:
As a General Manager, you will bring your extensive experience in managing Patient Transportation, Patient Equipment Management Solutions (PEMS), and Service Response Center (SRC) programs in the healthcare industry. Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:* Develop and nurture long-lasting professional relationships with key client stakeholders.* Engage in patient rounding alongside nursing staff.* Identify and execute process improvement initiatives.* Ensure that all employees exhibit an active customer hospitality orientation, catering to both clients and customers.* Fully integrate within the client's organization, becoming a trusted advisor with a customer service focus.* Prioritize and maintain patient happiness as a core objective.* Analyze patient satisfaction data and financial results, implementing additional measurements and action plans to optimize unit performance.* Complete essential departmental reporting, including financial reports and analysis.* Foster a positive work environment while motivating and developing your team.* Lead and direct patient transport, PEMS, and SRC operations, engage in employee rounding, and interact with patients, their families, and nursing staff to ensure proper transport procedures and staff training.* Continuously refine systems to ensure sustained efforts in achieving standards and maintain visibility within the facility.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.* 5 years of Management Experience.* 5 years of Functional experience.* Experience managing Patient Transportation, Patient Equipment Management Solutions (PEMS), and Service Response Center (SRC) and/or EVS experience in healthcare.* Recent experience handling patient transport, PEMS, and SRC programs in a hospital.* Strong client/employee relationship-building skills.* Ability to manage direct reports in multiple locations on the campus.* Proficiency in quickly grasping situations in a rapidly changing environment and logically progressing through solutions.* Previous Service Response Center (SRC) management, Patient Transport, and/or EVS experience in a healthcare environment.* Strong management skills for directing daily operations.* Experience ensuring program compliance, controlling costs with project management ability, including a customer focus, effective communication, and a sense of urgency.
