In the past year, we've seen revenue growth of over 300%, and our customers include Lifestance Health, Modern Health, Headspace and more.We are seeking an experienced HR Associate to lead our human resources department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR activities including payroll, event planning, and the implementation of policies and procedures.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.

The Role



  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Manage Nirvana's international payroll

  • Act as an office coordinator

  • Manage company events

  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

What we're seeking


Must Have:


  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive.

  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems like Trinet, Bill.com, and Deel

  • Experience planning and managing company events

  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

  • Located in NYC (In office 3 days per week)

Nice to Have


  • 2+ years of HR experience with an early-stage company

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

  • You'll enjoy vendor contract management and negotiations

  • Quick to learn and develop new skills

  • Guide long-term thinking and innovation in an ambiguous space, and promote your organization to support our business Compensation:$50.000 - $70.000
