Aerodome is bringing the future of air support to public safety agencies around the world. Using a fully integrated, automated, and AI-driven software operating system, we equip agencies with highly advanced, 24/7 drone-as-first-response capabilities.We are seeking a customer-centric Deployment Engineer with a background in public safety systems to provide a best-in-class onboarding experience for customers. This is a client-facing position, requiring remote presentation and professional communication skills on a regular basis.
Deployment Engineers are responsible for managing and accomplishing the technical aspects of customer onboarding and support, which include the development and maintenance of data interfaces to various public safety software systems.As a leader within our engineering organization, you will also be responsible for defining and documenting processes, best practices, and creating customer-facing materials in collaboration with the rest of our technical leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting public safety software systems and comfort interacting with police executives and other professional staff. This position is fully remote.
Travel may be required.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with first response and technical stakeholders to plan and execute the rollout of the Aerodome platform within their organizations
Develop and maintain data interfaces between customer systems and the Aerodome platform
Perform quality assurance testing on data interfaces
Perform data discovery and navigate complex SQL schema structures
Support customers in a technical capacity throughout the customer lifecycle
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (this is a customer-facing role)
5+ years of experience in Information Technology
Proficiency in PowerShell
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and performing data analysis
Experience managing technical projects
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in supporting public safety software systems
Prior industry experience working on UAS or GCS platforms
Windows domain administration experience
Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, Sentry, Notion
