BRINC Drones is striving to help all first responders by making products that quickly and effectively respond to 911 calls. Our vision is to have a mesh drone network system that responds to a 911 call in seconds rather than minutes or hours. This allows our responders to have a real-time view of what’s happening whether it be a fire, medical emergency, crime in progress, or search & rescue. This vision is already in the works with a product called LEMUR which helps SWAT teams safely enter a building without putting the suspect or officers in danger.
We here at BRINC are excited to hire the best talent on the planet to help us bring this vision to a reality.We are seeking a talented Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operationsto lead our production efforts to supply the public safety with the highest quality American drones.
Responsibilities
Manage day to day manufacturing and procurement
Lead cost reduction efforts cross labor, procurement, and operations
Improve and maintain production schedules and weekly/monthly production capabilities
Lead New Product Introduction efforts for rolling out new designs
Source, maintain, and work with vendors to outsource necessary work
Basic Requirements
10+ years in manufacturing, operations, and procurement
Experience introducing new product into production from design state
Experience with continuous improvement across manufacturing efficiency, cost reduction, risk reduction, etc.
Experience running procurement efforts for routine purchasing, vendor selection, and volume sourcing
Experience with vendor qualification processes
Experience running quality groups to find quality issues and find fixes to improve production
Preferred Qualifications
Experience scaling a product to 10-100x it’s original production rates
Has shipped products in highly regulated industries, such as NDAA, Federal & Healthcare.
Accurately exceeds predicted multiple months of production to enable sales lead times
Has successfully built and hired out multiple teams across production and procurement
