BRINC Drones helps first responders by making products that quickly and effectively respond to 911 calls. Our vision is to build a mesh drone network system that gets to a 911 call in seconds rather than minutes or hours. This allows our responders to get eyes on what’s happening whether it be a fire, medical emergencies, violence, or search and rescue. This vision is already in the works with a product called LEMUR which helps SWAT teams safely enter a building without putting the suspect or officers in danger. 

What you will be responsible for and your Day to Day:



  • Lead the full spectrum of HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, immigration, terminations, semi monthly payroll, compensation, benefits and incentive plans. 

  • Act as a trusted strategic partner and advisor to the CEO. 

  • Coach front line managers and department leaders on employment relations matters and building high performance and engaged teams.

  • Partner with the talent acquisition team to identify ways to raise the bar and attract and retain the best talent.

  • Partner with Sequoia (our PEO) on compliance and maintaining employee records, leaves of absence and processing of payroll. 

  • Contribute to organization design and build an HR ecosystem (systems and processes)  that can scale as we grow.

  • Partner with Sales and Finance on drafting sales commission plans and facilitating quarterly payments

What qualifications are required for this role



  • 7-10 years experience in full cycle HR role

  • Past talent acquisition leadership experience

  • You can be majority in person at our Seattle office in Fremont

  • You have supported small organizations with <200 employees

  • You have strong familiarity with employee relations and employment law

  • You have strong knowledge of payroll administration

  • Experience working with PEOs and HRIS

  • Experience in benefit strategy and administration

  • Experience in recruiting or working closely with recruiting teams

  • Startup experience from Series B - Series D

  • Equity administration and management

  • Headcount planning

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 plus equityShould you receive an offer, please expect that it can fall anywhere within this range.  A multitude of factors will determine a fair salary based on scope of role within the organization, years of relevant experience, specific skills, and evaluation of capability to execute in role successfully (among other critical factors).Compensation listed below may also be included in an offer.  This will be based on the nature of your employment with Brinc and/or the country within which you work.
