About the role
In this role, you will help take our frontend app of today and transform it into a broader platform of tomorrow. Importantly, this includes laying a great foundation for other engineers to build on. We are looking for a front-end engineer who is motivated to combine design with the art of programming. This role will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks and how it works.
What you'll do
Implement foundational product design & design system concepts for reuse across the platform
Build, maintain, and improve core customer-facing features that enable and support all of the product groups
Develop tools that improve frontend development productivity and minimize developer friction
Develop elegant and responsive user interfaces using the latest front-end technologies. You'll own substantial pieces of the product, from design to implementation
Work with our product, UX design, and backend development teams, you will develop new features and technologies that make our UI awesome and radically simplify the user experience for non-technical users.
Leverage your technical expertise in front-end application development in creating novel visualizations for structured and unstructured data and develop new techniques for improving the performance and interactivity of the application
Design and implement new technologies and features to support our fast-growing user base
Manage front-end infrastructure in the cloud
What we're seeking
Must have
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience with AI tools, JavaScript, React, Python, and Flask.
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Ability to work well in a small team environment.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
