About the Role
We are on the lookout for a passionate Frontend Engineer who will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact within our web applications. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to build and maintain responsive, scalable, and dynamic interfaces. If you are excited about working with TypeScript (React), HTML, CSS, and Ruby on Rails in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, this role is for you. We expect our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic about taking on new challenges.
What You'll Do
Implement user interfaces using TypeScript (React), HTML, and CSS.
Integrate frontend code with backend services using Ruby on Rails.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Designers, to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction and visuals.
Ensure high-quality code is delivered, meeting coding and design standards.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews to ensure a high-quality product.
Keep up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and best practices.
Translate UI/UX designs into code.
Assist in long-term development and business technology strategy.
What We're Seeking
Must Have
At least 2+ years of industry experience in frontend development.
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and Ruby on Rails.
Experience in building responsive and interactive web applications.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
Nice to Have
Experience in Agile development and sprint planning.
Previous experience in mentoring or leading a team.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Familiarity with infrastructure and DevOps.
Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles.
