About the role
Resemble AI is seeking a versatile infrastructure engineer to join our engineering team. Your job will be to provide robust, self-service tooling that enables delivery teams to effect change in a fast, safe, and reliable manner. You will contribute to cloud application hosting, CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and more. In order to continuously improve our systems and processes, this person will also propose and implement changes to make life better for engineers and our customers. Your day-to-day work will help shape the pipeline all of our developers depend upon to deliver change to our products and customers.
What you'll do
- Lead technical conversations and decision making with other infrastructure and backend teams
- Work with engineers across the company to build new features at a large scale, while improving internal engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- Anticipate and plan for the growth of Resemble AI's platform infrastructure
- Scope, design, and implement platform solutions that make the appropriate tradeoffs between resiliency, durability, and performance
- Develop tooling and automate processes to provide a resilient and flexible platform for other engineers
- Help debug and solve critical infrastructure issues across our services and multiple levels of the stack
What we're seeking
Must have
- Have experience with AWS & Heroku
- You're excited about a fast-paced work environment.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience
- You'll need to be able to work within North America
Nice to have
- BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or other technical degrees
- Experience with Ruby & Python
- High attention to detail with superior written and verbal communication
- The ability to work with many personalities; you are clear, concise, and kind in every interaction
- Excellent communication skills to ensure that both your project and its dependencies are successful
Compensation:$100.000 - $150.000
