They are in search of an experienced and visionary Data Engineering Manager to lead their dynamic team in building robust data infrastructure and driving innovation in data processing and analytics.
Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of talented data engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions.

  • Define and implement data engineering best practices, standards, and processes.

  • Oversee the development and optimisation of ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.

  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering team.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand and address data-related challenges.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Data Engineering Manager in a professional setting.

  • Strong background in data engineering, ETL processes, and data architecture.

  • Proficiency in working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud-based data platforms.

  • Experience with data modeling, database design, and optimization.

  • Solid understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to align data engineering strategies with business objectives.
