We offer a fast, low-cost, reliable, way for African remote workers and creators to receive and send money from/to foreign clients and other individuals and easily store and exchange between multiple currencies. Our target customer is a freelancer, remote worker, digital nomad, or creator who is 20-35 years old, living in Africa and working for foreign clients or serving a global audience.
We seek to provide a truly enjoyable customer experience through thoughtful UI/UX design and best-in-class customer service. We also aim to enable our customers to build strong financial health through a suite of value-added products including bill payment, credit, insurance, investing, and more. Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Payment Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. This role is ideal for individuals with 2+ years of experience who are eager to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our payment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze payment transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Identify and resolve payment processing issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve payment systems and procedures.
Assist in the development and implementation of new payment products and services.
Provide support and guidance to customers regarding payment-related inquiries.
Repair and verification of high value transactions.
Process Manual instructions received on fund / wire transfers for global currencies.
Review, research and process of incoming Funds Transfer by crediting client accounts or returning funds to remitting bank.
Monitoring transaction activity and control settlement timeframes for fund transfers.
Keeping track of balances on wallets, bill payment, and float accounts to ensure payments run smoothly
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Experience processing payments at an African fintech is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using financial software and payment processing platforms.
Knowledge of SWIFT & SEPA Message types and codes related to payments & international payment conventions & practices.
