Are you a dynamic public affairs professional with a meticulous eye for crafting compelling campaigns? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are currently seeking a Communications Specialist to join our team in London or Brussels, working as a Policy and Government Relations Manager across Europe. This role is critical in shaping financial policies and advancing Klarna's mission-led approach in the fintech space.

What You Will Do


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, policymakers, regulators, and consumer organizations. Organize impactful events to elevate Klarna's presence.
  • Campaign Development: Create and execute multi-channel campaigns, utilizing your exceptional drafting skills to promote Klarna's innovative vision.
  • Process Innovation: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency through automation and optimized project management workflows.
  • Regulatory Navigation: Monitor political and industry developments, ensuring Klarna and our partners are well-informed and positioned to respond to public policy changes.
  • Strategic Communication: Manage Klarna's content creation and analytics on platforms such as LinkedIn and our corporate blog, maintaining transparency and integrity in all communications.

Who You Are:


  • You are adept at building relationships and engaging with stakeholders across various levels.
  • Your creativity and innovative thinking drive you to embrace disruptive strategies for growth.
  • You possess a fast mind capable of grasping complex concepts and translating them into accessible narratives.
  • Experience in tech policy is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of additional European language is advantageous.
