What you will do:


We’re looking for a pragmatic and experienced Senior Analytics Engineer with 3+ years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Where you will have impact:


  • Perform client-focused analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights on our data.
  • Closely work with our Operations Team to deliver valuable data & insights to our clients.
  • Develop dashboards, graphs, and visualizations to communicate data findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide your strategic vision to the product team to help create and improve existing features and datasets.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to help build interesting articles supported by data insights.
  • Help the Quality Assurance team to ensure that data quality is up to the required standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and data engineers to develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data pipelines.

We are a diverse and international ensemble of web developers, data engineers, and data analysts who work together to meet our clients' diverse needs.Our mission is to empower clients with precise data and insights, aiding them in making informed decisions. We work in close collaboration with business stakeholders and clients, developing bespoke datasets and analytical reports tailored to their specific requirements.

Our team also specializes in data acquisition from leading accommodation platforms such as Booking, Expedia, and Airbnb, ensuring our clients have access to the most comprehensive and current data.While our office is situated in the vibrant heart of Madrid, we promote a flexible work culture, encouraging our team members to work remotely as needed. As a dynamic and growth-oriented team, we are constantly expanding our horizons and refining our data acquisition and analysis techniques.

Technologies you’ll work with:


Postgres (SQL), BigQuery, dbt, Looker, Google Cloud, etc. (feel free to ask us why these are the best fit for us)

Who you are:


  • Proven working experience and proficiency with analytical databases in SQL, such as Clickhouse or BigQuery.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with data analysis in Python.
  • Relevant experience with one or more data visualization tools (Metabase, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
  • Good organizational skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, excellent time management, and task prioritization skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Proactive and able to work with a minimum of supervision.

We welcome:


  • Experience with other programming languages (Javascript, R, Matlab, etc.).
  • Experience with system administration including Unix command line, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with deployment tools such as Docker, CI integration, or similar.
  • Experience with mentoring junior team members.
