It’s official: Bazaarvoice is a Great Place to Work in the US , Australia, India, Lithuania, France, Germany and the UK!·Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Snowflake data warehousing and DBT environments.·Lead the design and implementation of data transformation workflows using DBT.·Oversee the integration of data from various sources into Snowflake.·Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the data ecosystem·Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide data solutions.·Maintain comprehensive documentation for Snowflake and DBT configurations, processes, and changes.·Ensure that documentation is up to date and accessible to the team.·Collaborate with administrators to perform database maintenance and optimize system performance.·Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and administrators.·Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members.·Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to develop and maintain DBT models.·Monitor and schedule DBT jobs to ensure accurate data transformations.·Work with data engineers to design ETL processes and data pipelines.
Required Skills
·10+ years of database experience·Prior experience of lead role ETL tool like Informatica or any other tool·Expert in SQL·2-3 years of development experience in snowflake w/ 1 year of DBT development exp·Snowflake developer certification / DBT developer certification is a PLUS·Practical experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly their data services and offerings related to data storage, compute, and management#LI-Hybrid #LI-SR1
