Responsibilities
Collaborate with R&D engineers to create test systems, develop fixtures, and setups to accurately test new and existing products. Execute and evaluate a variety of tests, for durability, vibration, heat transfer, etc. Supervise testing and make observations, record data, and develop extensive test reports for both internal and external customer requirements Analyze parts/assemblies under test for potential failures/weaknesses based on application requirements Collaborate with R&D engineers to help create DVP spreadsheets for new productsContribute to the design review process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficient in 3D mechanical design and analysis tools
- Understand and apply GD&T Standards
- High degree of attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven experience in writing lab reports
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
