We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing development team. We welcome talented, passionate, innovative, result-oriented professionals who are highly skilled in AWS, Docker, CI/CD design and development, configuration management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drive continuous improvement, continuous delivery, and lean practices within the team
- Maintain and develop existing cloud infrastructure
- Ensures a high level of end-user satisfaction by advocating and implementing practices, metrics and monitoring tools with a user perspective in mind
- Improve observability of existing systems
- Implement automation, testing and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- Improve monitoring that alerts on anomalies rather than incidents, and infrastructure-as-code
- Own the reliability and security of cloud infrastructure and services
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
- Be on an on-call (PagerDuty) rotation to respond to incidents that impact availability.
Must-haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a similar discipline.
- 5+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer.
- 5+ years of experience in Linux administration.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS services including strong knowledge in container orchestration.
- Strong experience with Observability tools - logging/monitoring/alerting solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, BitBucket CI/CD.
- Experience with Configuration Management tools.
- Comfortable with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Experience and interest in infrastructure as a code approach (Terraform).
- Strong development skills in scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, etc).
- Experience in operating and automating Linux based systems.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Team player and open to new ideas.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English.
Good to haves:
- Prior experience with Scrum and other agile methods.
- Prior work experience in telecommunications.
- Knowledge of eSIM and GSMA related technologies and services.
