Role
As the Subcontracts Administrator, you will oversee and manage a portfolio of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders, to include subcontract relationships with vendor counterparts and CCG’s project teams.*This position can be performed remotely.
Responsibilities
- Interface with potential and current vendors/subcontractors; negotiate agreements; issue Purchase Orders for product(s) and service(s); monitor performance; and close out agreements.
- Ensure compliance with both Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and corporate policies/procedures are being followed in conjunction with issuance of Purchase Orders and/or Subcontracts
- Serve as the contractual lead to project management in proposal development, preparation and submission, as well as subsequent Subcontract negotiations and administration.
- Review and negotiate terms and conditions in accordance with company policy and negotiation playbook(s); provide ongoing oversight to ensure requirements are met.
- Maintain compliant, audit-ready Subcontract and/or Purchase Order files ready for both internal and external (government) audit.
- Maintain knowledge of assigned portfolio and ensure informational needs are met in a timely manner.
- Summarize and document negotiations (to include cost/price analysis on Subcontracts) for auditability and compliance.
- Assist in projects related to Policy and Procedure development and/or documentation as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (Only US citizens are able to obtain security clearances)
- 2-5 years of subcontract experience in a Government Contracting environment, spanning pre-award and post-award activities to include proposal development
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with multiple contract types
- Ability to apply knowledge of subcontracting processes, procedures, and compliance (i.e. FAR)
- Ability to read and understand solicitation and prime contract requirements
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with a small team; as well as work independently
- Sound knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of Subcontract terms and conditions
- Ability to proactively take on new challenges and responsibilities with minimal oversight
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration (i.e. Unanet or other ERP system) and Microsoft Office Suite.
