What You’ll Be Doing

- A Generalist in cost aptitude with an agility to adapt to different needs and not a subject specialist.
- For this role, manufacturing process knowledge is limited only to CNC Machining + sheetmetal + fabrication. Metal casting general knowledge is preferred. Injection molding and urethane casting is not fulfilled in India.
- Secondary process knowledge like Anodising (must), Chromate conversion coatings, (must), Electro Nickel plating (must), Powder coating (preferred), Painting (preferred), passivation (must), Electro plating (must) and knowledge of associated ASTM & ISO standards (preferred)
- Able to reverse work on costs based on customer targets.
- Knowledge of different inspection methods (preferred)
- Problem solving & quick decision making (must)
- Able to generate Should cost based on own estimates
- Sound knowledge of material (must) : Stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, aluminium alloys, Titanium (preferred), plastics (preferred) and their associated ASTM, ISO, IS, DIN standards.
- Worked in ISO 9001 : 2015 organisation (must) & exposure to ISO 9001 :2015 documentation (preferred)
- Able to interact with MP's over technical discussions and visit if needed.
- Good negotiation skills (must)
- Candidates working in customised business solutions catering to diverse business units like (General Engineering, aerospace, consumer, medical. auto) preferred
Desired Traits
Meticulous, detail oriented, inclination for documentation2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required3.
