About this role
We’re looking for a seasoned product designer to take the lead of the design of our internal patient relationship management tool, Lighthouse. A product designed specifically for the unique needs of our very own collaborative care teams, Lighthouse is powered by groundbreaking tech, and built based on the research and experience of our industry experts. You’ll collaborate with multiple departments to create clean, intuitive experiences that anticipate the needs of our patients and Care Team Members.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process, from ideation to implementation, collaborating with partners and stakeholders to create clear, efficient, and elegant solutions for Waymark’s patient relationship management product, Lighthouse.
- Closely partner with Care Model & Quality, Data Science, Product, and Engineering to find solutions that balance a first-class user experience with business needs and resource limitations.
- Partner closely with Research to continuously test and learn from Patient and Care Team experiences to iterate and evolve product solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of Waymark's Design System.
- Help grow and shape the Product Design team and culture.
- Set a high quality bar for Waymark experiences.
Minimum qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in product design; bonus points for experience in healthcare or designing complex, data-rich interfaces
- Proven track record leading the design process from problem definition to implementation
- Top-notch collaboration and communication skills; ability to seek out, gather, and work with input from a wide variety of stakeholders and SMEs
- Ability to break down large, complex, and sometimes ambiguous problems to find root-level solutions
- An eye for detail and edge cases
- High level of empathy and passion for bringing equitable care to traditionally underserved populations
Salary Range: $138,000.00 - $205,000.00. Compensation will depend on multiple factors, including job location, training, education, and experience.Benefits and Other Compensation: Medical, vision, dental, basic life insurance, and stock options available for the hired applicant. Employees also receive twenty (20) vacation days, accrued over the year and eleven (11) paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Sixteen (16) weeks of parental leave for birthing parents will also be available for use after successful completion of 6 months of employment, eight (8) weeks of bonding leave for non-birthing parents. Employees are able to enroll in our 401(k) plan and commuter benefits plan.
