Because creating a better, brighter future for the next generation depends on it.We are expanding our risk operations team in Bengaluru, India and seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Risk Decision Strategy. This person will lead our team in developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk decision strategy, be proficient in technical tools, and have a product mindset. This role will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth while mitigating risk.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the development and implementation of effective risk management strategies that align with business objectives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate risks associated with products, services, and business operations.
- Utilize technical tools such as machine learning, data mining, and predictive analytics to identify, assess and mitigate risk.
- Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure risk management considerations are integrated into the product design and development process - specially for new products
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
What you should bring:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in risk management or related fields.
- Strong understanding of decision strategy and experience in utilizing technical tools such as machine learning, data mining, and predictive analytics.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Product mindset and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
