Senior Partnerships Operations Director
The Senior Partnerships Operations Director is part of the Channel and Growth Initiatives team reporting to the VP of Strategic Partnerships. You will be responsible for operating partnerships with a clear focus on facilitating pipeline generation and speeding up sales cycles with strategic partners.This role entails overseeing the management of our strategic partnerships and ensuring the progress of the several go2market initiatives in place. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth, enhance operational effectiveness, and deliver exceptional value not only to e2open but to our partners as well.
The ideal candidate is a service-oriented, hands-on, pragmatic person with an advanced understanding of go2market processes, SaaS sales cycles, interpersonal relationships, and supply chain dynamics.The person must have a high level of self-accountability and show strong service-oriented personality, be able to work independently and collaboratively, have excellent interpersonal skills, understand e2open’s products, competitive advantages, and contract terms, understand e2open’s CRM and generate reports on performance metrics.
How You Will Make a Difference
- Create, foster, and maintain polite, constructive, and positive work environment not only with the partner’ stakeholders but internally at e2open with all involved areas
- Drive evangelization of the e2open organization in partner collaboration, advantages, methodologies, processes, and opportunity management.
- Own the critical internal stakeholders' relationships to get traction and ensure opportunity progress to support pipeline management. Lead and assist the Enterprise Sales Directors with roadblocks at e2open’s or the partner organization
- Ensure continuous opportunity progress and increase deal velocity. Establish a governance cadence to ensure/monitor progress on opportunities
- Create an education plan with Sales Operations for SMEs, as well as certification programs for the strategic alliances functional and technical resources to implement the solutions in synch with the maturing pipeline
- Lead our sales business units to initiate sales activity with the targeted accounts and foster the growth of that list
- Partner with e2open’s marketing department to create the necessary assets to enable the go2market narrative
- Partner with e2oen’s marketing department to define and execute tactical marketing campaigns
- Proactively connect opportunities to the right partner, partner’s opportunity approval and proper registration in SFDC
- Maintain metrics (pipeline, ARR) for governance, own the reporting on the metrics and objectives
- Engage with finance, accounting, billing, and procurement departments to jointly guarantee the adherence to the corporate procedures as well as the existence of the necessary records (PR/POs, invoicing, ARR registration and forecasting, etc.) for its management
- Additional duties as assigned
Who You Are
- You possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Sales, Implementation and/or Customer Success Management with a focus in the supply chain supply chain management domain
- A proven track record building and managing relationships with strategic partners & their sales teams, increasing the network of partner stakeholders who are aware of our portfolio and expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business, or related field
- Previous experience supporting go2market common processes (value proposition, sales enablement, marketing campaigns, pipeline management and reporting)
- You are hands-on, proactive, and motivated to go above and beyond to obtain business and keep clients and partners happy
- A problem-solving and common-sense mentality to approaching solutions and ability to explain technical solutions in a non-technical environment
- Superior interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating on a timely basis and speaking to senior-level executives
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts and initiatives simultaneously
- You are service oriented with an empathetic approach – our success is based on our peer’s success
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools
