Because creating a better, brighter future for the next generation depends on it.We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager, Funds In/Funds Out to lead the expansion of how Greenlight customers transfer money into and out of their Greenlight accounts. The Funds In/Funds Out domain provides some of the core capabilities that power all Greenlight applications and those of our partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for both the user experience and backend processes that enable users to link external financial instruments and move money between those instruments and Greenlight. This is an opportunity to be part of a founding team in our India Development Center that will develop and drive adoption of the next generation financial platform for all Greenlight products.As part of the Payments product area, you will partner closely with a full-stack application development team, product designers, architects, product management, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute the Funds In/Funds Out roadmap. You will be responsible for powering financial activities for millions of parents and children. This individual will leverage their payments expertise, deep data insights, customer feedback, and design best practices to increase the rate at which users link financial instruments and deposit money into Greenlight, reduce our deposit declines and transaction expenses, and improve customer satisfaction.The ideal candidate has previous experience working as a Product Manager in consumer-oriented tech companies (ideally within the FinTech space), and has led entire product development life cycles from ideation to launch.

This person is a ruthless tactician capable of translating high-level concepts to clear requirements, managing a product backlog, commanding sprint planning, and delivering high-quality features and functionality on time. They are comfortable making data-driven decisions and presenting to and influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

What you will be doing:


  • Establish a compelling vision, strategy, and prioritized roadmap for the Funds In/Funds Out domain in partnership with your core working team and cross-functional partners
  • Lead a product development team to achieve user and business outcomes by leading consistent, effective scrum events, ruthlessly prioritizing the backlog, and setting and sticking to realistic delivery timelines
  • Create detailed product requirements, working closely with cross-functional teammates to source inputs and phase work
  • Deliver high-quality features and functionality in partnership with engineering and quality partners via comprehensive end-to-end testing and release readiness activities
  • Work closely with our Product Analytics partners to understand how our users interact with our money movement products to make data-driven recommendations
  • Measure domain progress against key OKRs and illustrate the connection to broader company objectives

What you should bring:


  • A minimum of 4 years of background as a product manager, ideally in the FinTech space
  • A background in financial services, preferably with payments-specific experience working with ACH, card networks, mobile wallets, and/or digital finance intermediaries
  • A strong understanding of scrum team principles, including how teams effectively size and plan projects based on a team’s velocity, capacity, and projected level of effort
  • A self-starter with the confidence to translate ambiguous concepts into clear requirements and, ultimately, successful products
  • Intellectually curious with a strong analytical background (SQL proficiency preferred) 
  • High EQ and proven ability to lead through trust and influence across a wide variety of stakeholders and levels
  • Problem solving mentality that makes things happen and figures out workarounds when the team hits roadblocks
  • Strong product sense, including the ability to make decisions in the face of ambiguity while leaning heavily on data-driven, analytical methodologies.
  • Goal-oriented, growth mindset that seeks accountability and a desire to learn from mistakes.
  • Must work well in a remote team environment
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to manage cross-functional projects 
  • Superb interpersonal, written and verbal storytelling skills with a strong presence
  • A sense of humor and desire to create a positive, mutually fulfilling, inclusive work environment
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
