POSITION OVERVIEW


The Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in the execution of e2open’s quote to cash operations including pricing strategy. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and support of the SKU Master, including updates, troubleshooting, reporting and strategy. The Pricing Analyst is also responsible for the custom quoting process, collaborating with Sales and the Contract Intake team. The Pricing Analyst collaborates with other Pricing Team members, Product Management, Sales, and others to come up with the best pricing practices and pricing measurements, and then support the business through the reporting of those analytics.

A key part of this role is collaboration with key stakeholders and teammates to evaluate business processes and implement solutions on impactful initiatives related to pricing, making a major impact on the success of e2open.

RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Create custom quotes in support of opportunities and our financial requirements
  • Manage the custom quote approval process
  • Manage new and ad-hoc SKU approval process
  • SKU and price administration

  • Maintain SKU Master and support the SKU Master ecosystem
  • Assist in solving SKU and pricing problems related to quotes, systems, and processes
  • Apply pricing policies to our tools

  • Pricing Metrics reporting
  • Strategize for creation of new pricing policies and metrics
  • Provide input on the process for creation of quoting and pricing tools
  • Responsible for content in workflow tools related to pricing and quoting process
  • Key partner in custom quoting process
  • Lead and coordinate execution of projects in partnership with other business applications team members. 
  • Problem solve and use good decision-making skills to quickly overcome obstacles by understanding the appropriate level of urgency and business impact
  • Key leadership in support of global pricing strategy
  • Other tasks and activities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience 
  • 2 years or more experience with SaaS contracts and Salesforce or Deal Desk
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce, including reporting
  • Great English skills
  • Previous pricing experience a plus
  • Enthusiasm for learning about new methodologies, systems, and solutions 
  • Demonstrated track record of attention to detail and meeting deadlines. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
  • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday.
  • Placing and receiving phone calls.
  • Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds.
  • May require travel if needed.
