This is a full-time, remote position for people based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
We are looking for a Motion Graphics Designer who will work closely with the marketing, growth and content teams to brainstorm and create high quality video content and animations that will reflect our branding priorities and product excellence.
This is a very hands-on role with self-management responsibilities as you become thought partners with your marketing teammates. This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgment and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You’ll help, not only lead the MaintainX brand, but inspire and elevate the team by producing work that is always raising the bar and taking a user experience first approach to solving problems. Your work will allow our customers to feel delighted every time they interact with our brand.You’ll have an opinion about the right direction to go, the flexibility to change course when needed, and the communication skills to provide clarity to the rest of the team.Our current Brand Design Team is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
We work on all Visual and Motion initiatives across the company, and you will join a team of five visual designers and one motion designer. We work on a daily basis with our folks from Canada and the US.
What you’ll do:
- Create and deliver visually stunning motion graphics for multiple various media to be used across our website, ad campaigns, new product launches, content, social media and more.
- Work closely with your peers within Marketing to drive business outcomes and brand awareness, upleveling our ability to showcase to prospects and customers the power of our product and vision of the company.
- Have a deep understanding of our customers and their motivations and apply that understanding to your work so that it's visually compelling to our audience at large.
- Edit video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest graphic design techniques and bring those practices to what we do here at MaintainX.
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement micro-interactions in the product.
- Create graphic templates for easy use by other team members and client teams.
About you:
- You have a proven track record of designing successful animation projects. You have a background as a motion designer and basic knowledge about UX/UI - Product Design.
- You know how to use Figma and design best practices.
- You have empathy for customer needs but can also consider technical constraints and business goals.
- You want to work as part of an early-stage startup, where you will be expected to provide support across the business when needed.
- You own a portfolio of relevant design work to share with us that illustrates your involvement and how you contributed to those projects.
- You have a storytelling ability that helps your stakeholders have a better understanding of the design practice and reasons behind your design decisions. here to brand guidelines in ways that still push our creative boundaries.
