Are you the one?
The ideal candidate is an engineer with strong low-level programming and analytical skills, experienced in implementing and optimizing cryptographic primitives. Candidates should be able to work in a distributed research team, collaborating with researchers and other engineers to create proofs-of-concept of cutting-edge blockchain and cryptography protocols. We appreciate candidates who are not afraid of voicing their opinions and motivate them to ask for explanations of concepts they are not familiar with.Responsibilities:As a research engineer, you will participate in projects such as:
- Implementing and optimizing cryptographic primitives (zk, FHE, etc.)
- Implementing novel optimizations for zk-systems.
- Building solutions for decentralized identity, verifiable credentials, and reputation systems.
- Building on-chain protocols.
Skills:
- We look for candidates with hands-on engineering experience in any of the following:
- Zero-knowledge proofs, including
- zk-proof systems — transparent and non-transparent.
- zkDSLs such as Cairo, Noir, o1js.
- Folding schemes.
- Fully homomorphic encryption
- Multi-party computation
- Programming in Rust
Nice to have:
- Knowledge about Solidity.
- Background in cryptography or a related mathematical field.
