Role
First things first: At Airtame it is the QA Engineer's word that decides whether we release and you will be pinnacle in ensuring the product’s success. If you enjoy conscious exploratory testing, love to break things, and want to write a bit of code on the way — this role is for you!The mission of this role is to support us in solidifying our position as the most easy-to-use screen solution for people in organizations. You will specifically get a chance to build and extend our capabilities in the video conferencing space, where we collaborate with all major players in both the video conferencing as well as the AV industry.
We have built a combined offering of screen sharing, video conferencing, and digital signage - all managed by our cloud solution - and are continuing to build out our market offering.We're now looking for a talented and passionate QA Engineer, who is inspired to help us build and test new features and capabilities as well as develop further on existing work. As a QA Engineer, you will be working closely across the entire R&D team supporting our product managers, engineering teams, and tech support to ensure the overall product quality. You will impact the technical decisions regarding the QA setup and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

- In this role you will be working with both HW and SW testing. We have a dedicated test set-up in our Copenhagen office, allowing us to test products also in connection with other peripherals

Responsibilities:
- Act as a sparring partner and support to your peer QA Engineers, provide guidance and advice on best practice processes where you can, collaborating with them to identify potential issues and devise effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Be the Subject Area Expert for one of our new engineering products and projects.
- Continuously improve the QA processes and identify areas for growth.
- Own the QA aspect of the whole Software Development Lifecycle on projects, from the ideation stage through feature design, implementation and regression testing.
- Create test design and test documentation for upcoming features.
- Run exploratory testing sessions on existing functionality.
To be successful in this mission, you have:
- 4+ years experience working as QA Engineer
- Extensive experience in automation testing (we use Python, PyTest, Selenium/Playright)
- Extensive experience with different OSes. Linux experience is a must.
- Strong proficiency in efficient test design (identify use and mis-use cases, understand risk, do prioritisation).
- Efficient and practical approach that balances when automation testing vs. manual testing is selected
- Understanding of CI/CD concept
- Hands on experience with API testing (HTTP/curl/Postman)
- Excellent communication skills in English
