The Finance Team
The Finance team is focused on enabling Chainlink Labs to operate as a financially healthy and responsible business, building for speed and scale while avoiding unnecessary friction. We manage our capital resources carefully, surveying the road ahead to anticipate and prepare for any turn, and ensure the right resources are allocated for maximum returns. We analyze the business and report on key performance indicators, partner closely with other teams across the company, and ensure that we drive the right business outcomes, proper compliance, and accountability.Chainlink Labs is seeking a visionary Treasury professional to join our dynamic team.
As a key member of the Treasury department, you will spearhead the development, management, and scaling of our Treasury operations, pioneering innovative approaches in digital asset treasury management. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to our mission of driving financial innovation in the blockchain space. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of finance while playing a pivotal role in the success of Chainlink Labs.This role is location agnostic anywhere in the world, but we ask that you overlap some working hours with Eastern European Time (EET) and Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Objectives of this role
- Manage our fiat & crypto assets forecasting and positioning operations
- Build observability and dashboards surfacing performance of Treasury processes
- Partner across Finance and Engineering to implement treasury process transformation and automation
- Implement policies, procedures and controls for digital assets
- Support the launch of new products through assessment of financial risks and implementation of funding workflows
- Provide periodic reporting to executive leadership on Treasury operations
- Contribute to building relationships with banking, exchange and financial partners
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of treasury, finance, or engineering experience
- Proficiency in Web3 and transacting on the Ethereum network, DeFi, cross-chain bridging & EVM compatible chains
- Experience working with engineers and technical partners
- An owners mindset and willingness to roll up their sleeves
- Ability to work on and deliver on multiple workstreams
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to cultivate productive cross-functional partnerships
- Tech-oriented and intellectually curious about new developments in the blockchain space
Preferred Qualifications
- An engineering, mathematics, computer science or economics background
- Technical acumen and coding experience
