The Role


As the Director of Solution Consulting, you will be a key leader in our organization, responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of solution consultants (SC) who are subject matter experts in enterprise asset management and plant maintenance to provide consulting on value improvement cases, maturity assessments, process improvement, and mobility best practices leveraging Innovapptive products. Our SC’s engage with clients by leading the solution design process, documenting requirements, documenting the functional design to meet those requirements, and driving adoption of Innovapptive's connected worker solutions using cloud based SaaS offerings and mobility solutions.As a solution consultant leader, you are responsible to Identify and help SC’s identify solution needs & user stories and design an approach for the field work force in order to enable KPI improvements such as:

  • Preventative maintenance
  • Corrective maintenance
  • Service orders for assets in the field maintained by Field Technicians
  • Inventory management for parts consumed, returned, and other transactions
  • Case management for notification creation for Reliability and Performance Engineers
  • Implementation of a four-week rolling schedule
  • Reductions in emergency breakdowns
  • Reductions in the time required to prepare the weekly schedules
  • Measurement of maintenance performance with KPIs
  • Digitization of forms

The SC team will lead all solution design activities and documentation for the implementation of our Innovapptive products mobile solution. They will understand the customer’s maintenance processes and the challenges their front end workers face today. They are able to advise customers on best practices and marry their business processes to an adoptable solution design that leverages Innovapptive’s mobile solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively collaborate with sales teams, understand client needs, and provide innovative solutions.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of solution consultants in the MX region to achieve peak performance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

  • Work closely with sales teams to understand client requirements and business objectives.
  • Understand our customer’s Maintenance & Repair Operations, Plant Maintenance processes, and Asset Management integration touchpoints, and map them to our mobile solution
  • Lead the solution consulting team in conducting needs analysis to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Oversee and contribute to product demonstrations, both standard and customized, to showcase the value proposition of our solutions.
  • Ensure the solution consultants effectively communicate technical features and business benefits to clients.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and understanding of client needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between solution consultants and other teams, fostering effective communication channels.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, prospects, and partners to build comprehensive and transformative solutions.
  • Work closely with product management to provide feedback on product enhancements based on client interactions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive analyses.
  • Implement training programs to ensure the solution consulting team remains at the forefront of industry knowledge.
  • Communicate to our customers’ leaders the business benefits and ROI (Return on Investment) in deploying our products
  • Guide customers to solutions that maximize process digitization improvements and adoption
  • Execute to-be process solution designs that leverage product capabilities to maximize adoption and enhance end user experience
  • Provide best practice solutions, evaluate and document effective solution alternatives to the business problems if the current product feature does not meet the customer requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Mentor and advise the Development and Implementation Teams to build technical designs and configure applications
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field is required. 
  • 7+ years of proven experience in leading solution consulting teams, preferably in a directorial role.
  • Strong understanding of pre-sales strategies, client engagement, and solution presentations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • 3-5 YEARS REQUIRED of Extensive knowledge of business processes in Plant Maintenance Processes, Standard functionality – Work Order Planning & Scheduling, Notifications, Work Order Execution and Processing, Measuring Points, Functional Locations, and Form Execution and Submission
  • 3-5 YEARS REQUIRED of hands-on functional solution design experience including requirement gathering, prioritization, documentation and consulting in the areas of SAP PM and EAM (SAP or 3rd party applications that integrate with SAP)
  • 2-3 full cycle implementation experience or equivalent experience IS REQUIRED
  • 3-5 years of experience IS REQUIRED of Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to leverage knowledge to design and develop solutions that improve productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies
  • 3-5 YEARS REQUIRED experience configuring the basic system for various modules of plant maintenance, custom solutions involving complex process design, interfaces, reporting, code evaluation to cross-process integration, collaborative and seamless solution is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimalsupervision. Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams IS REQUIRED
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and client success.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications and a solid understanding of the industry landscape.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
