---Core Job Responsibilities---
- Work with clients and team to gather business, user and marketing requirements.
- Build project plans based on requirements and all relevant technical considerations.
- Transform designs into standards-based code using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Create custom client-side solutions to extend site functionality and enhance user experience.
- Design and implement basic custom PHP/MySQL back-end/server-side solutions (scripts + database support) for both internal and client-related projects.
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to solve client and user experience problems.
- Perform QA checks (style & functionality) on sites prior to deployment.
- Research various IT and programming issues to solve problems and stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and methods.
- Provides input into development and modification of policies and procedures, and recommends strategies for implementing new and existing policies.
- Resolves issues and requests presented by staff.
---Required Qualifications---
- 3+ years client-side scripting experience.
- 2+ years server-side scripting experience.
- Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in LAMP environment.
- Required expereince in CSS, HTML, and jQuery.
- Proficient in PHP and SQL.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, and strong QA process/skills.
- Experience with back-end application development involving API/web services programming.
- Preferred experience with ModX and Wordpress.
- Must be absolutely trustworthy with customer and business data.
- Great “can-do” attitude. Self-motivated, team player.
